Kal’s RePlay Fund
About the program:
Would your Canadian charity or non-profit organization benefit from a new wall or flooring made from recycled rubber? Kal’s RePlay Fund helps cover the cost of projects that turn scrap tires into new rubber products to enhance facilities.
Common recycled rubber products available in Canada include: Eco-Wall, HD Eco-Wall, Eco-skirting, rubber tiles and mats, landscape edging and curling rink ends, stair treads, rubber composite mats - rig mats, helicopter pads, industrial walkways, and floor mats, yukon and container ramps, rubber planks, rumble strips and pads, ez-drive curb ramps, parking stops.
What is Kal’s Replay Fund?
Applicants must be non-profit organizations located in provinces/territories where Kal Tire does business (excludes the Maritimes and Nunavut). Schools, municipalities, and First Nations are welcome to apply.
When are applications accepted?
Deadline for applications is end-of-day February 29, 2020. Funding will be awarded by the end of April 2020. Kal Tire reserves the right to extend the application deadline if needed.
What qualifies for funding from Kal’s RePlay Fund?
Funding can only be used toward the purchase, freight, and installation of recycled rubber products made of scrap tires generated in Canada. Funding is also available to cover the cost of signage to promote your organization, Kal’s RePlay Fund and educate the public on tire recycling. Taxes are not eligible costs.
